The Apostolic Church Commission

City of Refuge Christian Center in the year 2007 was sent by the Word of God and given great grace and favor in the sight of the Lord as an Apostolic Church.
An apostolic church is a church that has a strong apostolic dimension. A dimension is measure, length, width and depth. The apostolic dimension is the measure of the apostolic anointing that flows through an individual believer or corporate assembly. The ministry gift of the Apostle of our house has been given to the Church to release an apostolic dimension to all believers. When you receive the ministry of the apostle, you will receive the apostolic dimension. This does not make everyone an apostle, but it can release believers to be apostolic.
When a church becomes apostolic, it will see breakthroughs that were not possible before; an ability to do things that previously could not be done. It is apostolic grace that is released and received through apostolic ministry.

Characteristics of the Apostolic Church

Apostolic Doctrine. The believers continued steadfastly in the apostles’ doctrine. Apostolic teaching is foundational and needs to be in the life of every believer. Apostolic churches are known for sound doctrine based on the Word of God. Apostolic people will be people of sound doctrine.
